A setup reference for Gemini CLI. Dotidot compatibility is still being tested.
You need Gemini CLI installed. This connection uses its remote HTTP MCP support.
The documented Gemini CLI command format is:
gemini mcp add --transport http dotidot https://mcp.dotidot.io/mcpOpen Gemini CLI and run /mcp auth dotidot. If authentication fails, stop here; this route is not yet confirmed for Dotidot.
MCP connection only. These steps add live tools, not the skill bundle. This is a Gemini CLI setup reference, not an integration with the Gemini chat website. OAuth compatibility is unverified.

The MCP connection gives your assistant live Dotidot tools. A skill adds a repeatable workflow, such as the steps for diagnosing an import. The connection instructions above add MCP tools. Our skill bundle is currently in developer preview.
The MCP connection gives your assistant live Dotidot tools. Skills give it repeatable workflows for tasks such as investigating an import. The Dotidot installation brings both together.
The MCP server exposes actions according to your account permissions. The connection is not read-only: Dotidot currently requires both read and write OAuth scopes. The diagnose-import skill is written to investigate without making changes. Review requested actions in your AI client.
Check that your AI client supports remote HTTP MCP and that your workspace allows custom connectors. Authentication is currently verified in Codex CLI; the other clients are still being checked. Use the setup reference for your client or contact Dotidot support.
Check that your workspace allows integrations and that you can sign in to your Dotidot account. If you need help, contact the Dotidot team.
